Equine
Owning 3 horses myself, I know the special bond we share with our horses. Why not capture this bond today? We can photograph horse/rider, horse only, or both.
You have the option of black background, outside, or both. Just like with other pets, the session time will be based on your horse(s). I will take my time and make sure the horse(s) are relaxed. This will ensure we get the best images possible.
Sports/Action
I will be happy to photograph your sporting event - from ball games, to horse shows, to rodeos and everything in between. I look forward to getting that awesome shot for you.

Pet Portraits
Our pets are more than just pets, they are family. I will work with you to capture special moments with your pet(s). These sessions can be you and your pet(s), just your pet or both. I will take my time and make sure your pet(s) are relaxed. This will ensure we get the best images possible. I also do legacy photos (senior pets, terminal illness) with the utmost sensitivity.
Family Portraits

Hi, I’m Susan—a South Carolina native who now proudly calls Oxford, North Carolina home. After graduating from college, I served in the U.S. Air Force, with my final duty station in Fayetteville, NC. When my service ended, I chose to settle here in North Carolina, where I continue to build both my life and my photography business.
My love for photography started early, earning my Girl Scout photography badge with a 110 Instamatic camera (which I still have!). Over the years, I naturally became the one capturing moments at family gatherings, holidays, and everyday life. Seeing those memories resurface years later—and the joy they bring—is what inspired me to turn my passion into something more.
Today, I specialize in capturing genuine, meaningful moments—the kind you’ll look back on and cherish for years to come. I believe the best photos aren’t forced or overly posed, but real, heartfelt, and true to you.
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m a wife, a mom, a veteran, and a proud pet parent to three dogs, one cat, and three horses. Life is busy, a little messy, and full of beautiful moments—and that’s exactly what I love to capture.
